The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a part time (24.5 hrs/week) permanent Public Health Nurse in the Manitouwadge Branch Office to provide public health nursing services in health promotion, prevention and protection in the community of Manitouwadge.
The ability to plan, implement and evaluate a wide variety of programs based on the Ontario Public Health Standards and community needs is required. This position requires both the ability to work independently and with an interdisciplinary team and community partners to enhance health programs in the community is essential. Strong communication skills (oral and written), computer skills, access to a vehicle and valid driver's licence are required. The ability to speak French would be an asset.
Hourly Wage Range: $27.31 - $37.66
