Immunization and Vaccine

Welcome to the Immunization Program at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. Our program provides a variety of immunization services to the public within the District of Thunder Bay.

We provide:

  • a weekly immunization clinic at the Health Unit every Wednesday between 1:30 to 6:00 pm for routine immunizations for those over the age of 1 year (please bring your immunization record if you have one)
  • School clinics for boosters and optional vaccinations like meningococcal, hepatitis b and HPV
  • Assessment of Immunization Record for school age children and children (and staff) of daycares
  • a weekly travel clinic at the Health Unit every Thursday morning (by appointment) to assess the needs of individuals traveling to foreign countries. 
  • seasonal flu clinics at various sites in the City and District of Thunder Bay.
