The team includes an epidemiologist-manager, certified public health inspectors, a land development officer and program support. Together, the team works to protect the public, promote health and prevent disease through education, consultation, inspection, monitoring public health issues and enforcing public health legislation.

We have completed a city-wide radon project to determine the level of radon in Thunder Bay homes. Radon is a colourless, odourless, radioactive gas.
