Emergency Check List

Emergency Preparedness Week

First full week of May

"72 hours: is your family prepared?"

  • Power interruptions can affect the health and safety of your family.
  • Learn More before one happens.  Learn how to prepare for a wide variety of emergencies ahead of time from the Government of Canada
  •  FANCY WIRELESS PHONES ARE GREAT BUT; Always ensure that there is one "hardline" phone in your home to maintain phone service during a power outage. This phone will need a phone jack, but doesn't need to be plugged in to a power outlet.
