Our Mission

The Thunder Bay Prenatal Coalition strives to cultivate a culture and environment that is respectful of the pregnant woman through advocacy, promotion of services and information sharing in our community.

Our Values

We recognize that the prenatal period has a direct impact on a child’s life and thus we believe that all pregnant women should have access to services and information

Our Objectives

1. To facilitate inter agency cooperation and collaboration.
2. To identify and help pregnant women become aware of available services and resources and how to access them.
3. To facilitate the dissemination of information pertinent to pregnant women.
4. To explore issues that impact pregnant women.
5. To advocate for the inclusion of pregnant women in all early years’ programs and services.
6. To provide training and education opportunities to service providers working with pregnant women.
