The Thunder Bay District Health Unit provides workshops to train community kitchen leaders.
Support from the Health Unit helps keep food action projects running.
Workshops for Community Gardens are also planned. Information on food budgeting, meal planning, food action programs etc. is available at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit by calling 625-5956.
Trained volunteer Community Food Advisors are ready and able to promote safe and nutritious food selection, preparation and storage to groups in the Thunder Bay area.
