Take Heart is a collaborative effort to promote community awareness of healthy lifestyle choices, and to encourage behaviour changes throughout the District of Thunder Bay. Supportive environments will be created through a coordinated network of policies, facilities, education, and service providers.

If you are involved in a workplace, school, service club, school council, church group, day care centre, community centre etc, there are fun, simple ways your organization can promote and support healthy lifestyle choices for your members or clientele. Take Heart Projects
Take Heart Coalitions are established in communities across the District of Thunder Bay: Thunder Bay, Nipigon/Red Rock, Municipality of Greenstone, Schreiber/Terrace Bay, Marathon, and Manitouwadge.
These coalitions are responsible for organizing projects that promote healthy lifestyles in their community. Many thanks to the volunteers and organizations working hard to make a difference!
