Take Heart Initiatives

Take Heart - Healthy Lifestyle Coalition was formed as a result of funding from OHHP - Taking Action for Healthy Living (Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care). Funding will continue until 2008. Below is an overview of the many worthwhile projects in communities in the District of Thunder Bay.

All initiatives are planned by committee members. If you're interested in learning more, or joining a working group, call Lynda Fraser 625-5948, Take Heart Coordinator

Take Heart fully supports the work of Tobacco Free Thunder Bay, Marathon Breathe Easy, Take Heart Manitouwadge and Take Heart Nipigon in their efforts to institute 100% smoke-free by-laws across the District.
