Determine
your risks and talk to your doctor about making lifestyle changes.
Quit
smoking and avoid exposure to second-hand smoke.
Eat
healthy and enjoy a variety of foods following the Canada's Food Guide. Eat less fat and choose more whole grain breads and cereals, vegetables and fruits.
Get
physically active
by doing something physical that you enjoy every day. Regular physical activity will keep your heart strong, as well as manage your stress and blood pressure and keep your weight at a healthy level.
Maintain a healthy
