The Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) provides breast screening services free of charge to women age 50 and over. A doctor's referral is not necessary.
Breast screening services include a mammogram and a clinical breast examination done by a trained nurse.
Appointments can be made by calling OBSP. The breast screening coach travels to communities throughout Northwestern Ontario providing mobile screening for women in their own community.
