The New Canada's Food Guide is here!
Health Canada released the revised Canada's Food Guide on Februray 5, 2007. The new guide, entitled Eating Well with Canada's Food Guide, translates the most up-to-date nutrition research into clear messages to promote healthy food choices. It has many new features with clearer guidance on:
- portion sizes and number of recommended servings for age and gender
- daily physical activity
- selecting the best choices within each food group
