An outbreak at Glacier Ridge Retirement Residence located on Jasper Drive has ended. Currently there are no outbreak notices in effect in the city or district of Thunder Bay.

As the holiday season approaches, many people visit loved ones in long-term care facilities.  Infection control staff at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit would like to remind people that these residents are often more susceptible to illness.   It is recommended that you do not visit or volunteer at long-term care facilities, daycare centres or hospitals if you are ill.
