The swimming advisory for all three beaches—Main Beach, Sunnyside, and Cove—has been lifted by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.  Water tests show that the bacteria levels at all three sites are within acceptable limits and have returned to results considered safe for swimming.

Presently, there are no other beaches in our area that have swimming advisories posted.  Beaches at Chippewa remain open.
