New Medical Officer of Health for the Thunder Bay District Health Unit

The Board of Health for the Thunder Bay District Health Unit is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nancy Cameron to the position of Medical Officer of Health and Chief Executive Officer for the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, effective June 5, 2006.  Dr. Cameron has previous experience as a Medical Officer of Health in the Ontario Public Health system and most recently was a Medical Consultant with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.

“Our Board worked diligently to fill the position and we are very pleased that Dr. Cameron was interested in the scope of work that the Thunder Bay District Health Unit offers and the lifestyle available in the District,” states Connie Bryson, Chair of the Thunder Bay District Board of Health. “We look forward to introducing her to the community in June.”
