April 23, 2007 - An enteric outbreak which forced the closure of Geraldton District Hospital’s long-term and acute care units on April 7th  is now over. All visitor restrictions have been lifted. Friends and family members are now welcomed to the hospital.

Thunder Bay District Health Unit would like to remind the community of the importance of staying home if you are ill and the value of regular handwashing to stop the spread of viruses during this season.
