August 20, 2007 (THUNDER BAY) - Motorist can expect to have their day brightened after another tough at work.

On Monday, August 20 at 4:00 pm on the corner of Balmoral and William Streets in front of Thunder Bay District Health Unit, Youth Engaged in Tobacco Initiatives (YETI) will congratulate the Walt Disney Company on their recent announcement to ban the depiction of smoking in all of their family oriented movies. YETI will be dressing up as their favourite Disney characters and greeting passers by with signs applauding the decision.

The Disney ban comes shortly after the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) announced that it will be more strongly considering issuing an ‘R’ rating to movies containing depictions of tobacco use.
