February 8, 2007 - The enteric outbreak originally declared on Plaza Four of Pioneer Ridge Long Term Care Home on January 30, 2007, is still in effect.

To prevent the spread of the illness to residents on other floors, officials at Pioneer Ridge and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit have restricted all admissions, transfers, discharges and visits to the entire facility.
