February 21, 2007 - An outbreak of enteric illness at Pioneer Ridge which began January 30, 2007, has ended.

Admissions, discharges and transfers have resumed.  Visitors are now welcome.

Handwashing is a very effective way to avoid spreading illness during this season.  Proper handwashing is done when soap is used and the soap lather stays in contact with the skin for 15-20 seconds before rinsing.
