An outbreak at St. Joseph’s Care Group – Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital Dementia Care Unit is now over.

Admissions, discharges and transfers have resumed.  Visitors are now welcome.

An outbreak at Pinewood Court which began on January 8, 2007, continues. Admissions, discharges, transfers and visitations have been suspended.

Handwashing is a very effective way to avoid spreading illness during this season.  Proper handwashing is done when soap is used and the soap lather stays in contact with the skin for 15-20 seconds before rinsing.
