January 30, 2007 - Officials at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and Pioneer Ridge have declared an outbreak of enteric illness on Plaza Four at the long-term care facility. Plaza Four houses 38 people.  Symptoms are nausea, diarrhea and vomiting.

All admissions, transfers and discharges are suspended for Plaza Four, only.  Visitation and social activities have been cancelled for this floor.
