January 22, 2007 - An  enteric outbreak at Pinewood Court  which began January 8 has ended.

Admissions, discharges and transfers have resumed.  Visitors are now welcome.

Currently there are no outbreak notices in effect in the city or district of Thunder Bay.

Handwashing is a very effective way to avoid spreading illness during this season.  Proper handwashing is done when soap is used and the soap lather stays in contact with the skin for 15-20 seconds before rinsing.
