March 23, 2007 - Officials at Thunder Bay District Health Unit and Dawson Court Home for the Aged have issued an enteric outbreak notice for the long-term care home located at 523 Algoma Street. Symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea are being investigated.

The facility is now closed to visitors, and all resident transfers, admissions and discharges have been restricted.
