March 30, 2009 - The precautionary Boil Water Advisory (BWA) for Terrace Bay is over. Water samples taken from the municipal distribution system indicate the water is safe for consumption.

The Health Unit and local officials declared a precautionary BWA on Wednesday, March 25 after severe weather interrupted power to the area.  This resulted in a loss of water pressure in the municipal water distribution system and may have compromised the quality of the water supply.
