The SAVE Committee Mandate
-
To promote awareness, education and enforcement of safe ATVing, boating and snowmobiling throughout Northwestern Ontario, thus reducing injuries and fatalities while operating recreational vehicles

To promote the operation of recreation vehicles in an environmentally friendly manner
The SAVE Committee Strategy
-
Working with community partners in Northwestern Ontario to promote safe operation of ATV’s, boats and snowmobiles

Reducing/preventing collisions and injuries related to ATV, boat and sled use
-
Changing the image of such use so that operating a recreation vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is socially unacceptable

Supporting safety laws, policies and enhanced enforcement

Educating the public on the proper ATV size according to the age and size of a child operator
