How to use a male condom
How to use a male condom
Make sure the condom package is not damaged or already open.
Check the expiry date. If expired DO NOT USE.
Tear along one side of the foil package. Make sure not to rip the condom inside.
Either partner can put a condom on the erect penis before there is any contact between the penis and the partner's body.
Press the air out of the tip, leaving enough space to hold the semen (about one centimeter). Air trapped inside the condom can cause it to break.
While pinching the condom tip, slowly unroll the condom all the way to the base of the penis. There is only one way a condom can unroll. If you make a mistake, do not flip the condom onto the other side. Use a new one as pre-ejaculate could have come into contact with the condom.
After sex, withdraw the penis while it is still hard, holding on firmly to the base of the condom so that the semen does not spill out.
Remove the condom when the penis is fully withdrawn. Keep both the penis and condom clear from any contact with your partners' body.
After the condom is removed, tie a knot at the open end and toss the condom in the garbage. Never flush a condom down the toilet and never reuse your condoms.
