Vasectomy

·        The tubes that carry the sperm from the testicles during ejaculation are cut.
This prevents the sperm from being present in the ejaculate .

·        You must visit the sexual health clinic to see a clinic nurse and doctor
You will receive a referral to a doctor who will do your vasectomy

Procedure

·        This is a medical operation done in a hospital or doctor's office.

·        The area is frozen. The doctor cuts the vas deferens tubes.

·        This procedure takes about 20 minutes

·        After a vasectomy a man can still ejaculate and experience orgasm
