Prevention:
Taking steps to prevent children, youth, and young adults from starting to smoke or using chew tobacco. Prevention includes tobacco and health education, local youth action alliances and tobacco-industry de-normalization.
Protection:
The Smoke Free Ontario Act (SFOA) requires all public places and enclosed worksites to be smoke-free. Through education we promote smoke-free homes, cars and other enclosed private spaces.
Cessation:
Information for all age groups for those considering, starting to, preparing for, or are ready to quit their tobacco habit.
