The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking Full-Time Contract (until November 15, 2021) Youth Engagement Facilitator - Tobacco Control.  As the Youth Engagement Facilitator on the Tobacco Team, you will demonstrate an ability to engage youth, and community partners to reduce tobacco and vaping initiation and use among youth and young adults. You will increase the knowledge and ability of community partners and youth/young adults to integrate tobacco reduction programming into their practices through provision of training and by supporting youth led partnerships in schools (including post-secondary), Indigenous and community groups with a youth focus. You will support tobacco prevention and quitting initiatives at high schools and enhanced smoke-free policies in post-secondary settings. You will also promote tobacco/vaping communication campaigns and collaborate with colleagues and community partners to support comprehensive tobacco control.
