COVID-19: Phone Line to Report Order Violations

Ontario Regulations

For complaints regarding non-compliance with Ontario Regulation 364/20, such as:

  • Businesses that are open when they are not allowed to be open.
  • Businesses that are not requesting proof of identity and proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in settings where they are required to do so.
  • Businesses that are not following public health measures, such as ensuring patrons are wearing masks and physical distancing in line ups to enter.
    • Please note that businesses are required to limit the number of patrons inside the premises according to how many people can safely maintain a 2 metre physical distance. The number of people allowed in the business will vary depending on the square footage of the public space. Operators have different approaches to how they monitor capacity limits. Once inside, members of the public are expected to follow physical distancing requirements. While staff may encourage patrons to keep their distance if they notice groups forming, it is not the operators sole responsibility to ensure that all patrons maintain a physical distance at all times. As a customer, if you notice that other patrons are coming too close, you are encouraged to speak up and kindly ask others to respect the need for 2 metres of distance, or speak to a manager about your concerns.

Residents should phone TBDHU at (807) 625-5900 or Toll-Free 1-888-294-6630.
