The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a full-time permanent Public Health Nurse in the Sexual Health Program. As a Public Health Nurse in the Sexual Health program you will demonstrate clinical and counseling skills to the adolescent population, and provide education to individuals and groups. Working in a multi-disciplinary environment you will have excellent knowledge of sexual health issues including birth control methods, sexually transmitted infections, and HIV/AIDS.  You will work with community partners to ensure the provision of related health promotion activities.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a Full-Time permanent Nutritionist in the Healthy Living Program.  Reporting to the Manager of Healthy Living, the Public Health Nutritionist plans, develops, co-ordinates and evaluates nutrition programs.  50 percent of this position is spent working with the Healthy Kids Community Challenge.  The Public Health Nutritionist works to develop healthy public policy and environments focusing on population-wide strategies as set forth in the Ontario Public Health Standards (OPHS).
