The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a Full-time Permanent Program Assistant in the Sexual Health program.  Reporting to the Manager of  Street Outreach, Harm Reduction & Sexual Health Programs, the Program Assistant provides various clerical services supporting Public Health programs.  Working in a multi-disciplinary environment, the Program Assistant performs those functions as related to the daily operations and delivery of the Programs, ensuring that discretion and confidentiality are maintained at all times.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a Public Health Nurse (PHN) (Full-Time contract: October 13, 2025 - November 2, 2026) in our Geraldton Office.  Reporting to the Manager, Oral Health and District Offices, the Public Health Nurse is responsible for providing public health programs and services on health protection, promotion and maintenance, disease and injury prevention and community participation and development. Public Health Nursing practice is based on the model of primary health prevention and is population focused.
