The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a Full-time Contract (March 2, 2026 - March 31, 2027) Health Promotion Planner in Healthy Living Program. Reporting to the Manager of Healthy Living, the Health Promotion Planner supports implementation of the Northern Fruit and Vegetable Program and the Indigenous Food Sovereignty Program. Using skills in program planning, evaluation, research, and community engagement, the Health Promotion Planner supports food literacy initiatives in elementary and secondary schools in Thunder Bay, District, and First Nation Communities. The Health Promotion Planner also supports food security and food sovereignty initiatives in partnership with 14 road-accessible First Nation communities as part of the Understanding Our Food Systems Project.
