The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a full-time permanent Public Health Nurse in the Sexual Health program. Reporting to the Manager of Street Outreach, Harm Reduction and Sexual Health Programs, as a Public Health Nurse in the Sexual Health program you will demonstrate excellent clinical and counseling skills tailored to meet the needs of diverse populations. You will also deliver audience specific sexual health education to individuals and groups. Working in a multi-disciplinary environment you will have thorough knowledge of sexual health issues, including but not limited to, contraceptive methods, sexually transmitted and bloodborne infections, including HIV/AIDS. You will also work with community partners to ensure the provision of sexual services and promotion campaigns.
