The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a Travelling Public Health Nurse (PHN) - (0.6 FTE Part-time Contract June 2025 - October 2026). This position offers a meaningful opportunity to serve diverse communities while enjoying flexibility and comprehensive travel support.
Reporting to the Manager, Oral Health and District Offices, the Public Health Nurse is responsible for delivering public health programs and services including:
· Healthy Babies Healthy Children programming;
· Vaccine-preventable disease management and immunization clinics; and
· Health promotion activities
Location: District of Thunder Bay with regular travel to Marathon.

· Hybrid Work Model: Opportunity to perform some work remotely. On-site presence at least once every two weeks (2 full days with 2 overnight stays), or more frequently depending on community needs.

· Company vehicle provided: for work-related travel from Thunder Bay.
· Mileage reimbursement: Reimbursement if traveling from alternate district community using personal vehicle.
