Reporting to the Manager, Environmental Health, the PHI is responsible for a comprehensive environmental health program in the community. The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking two (1) Public Health Nurses (PHN) (0.5 FTE Part-Time contract: February 2026 - November 2, 2026) in our Geraldton Office.  Reporting to the Manager, Oral Health and District Offices, the Public Health Nurse is responsible for providing public health programs and services on health protection, promotion and maintenance, disease and injury prevention and community participation and development. Public Health Nursing practice is based on the model of primary health prevention and is population focused.
