Details of affected flight:

  • Westjet Flight 3123, July 26, 2020 Toronto to Thunder Bay, Rows 13 to 19

TBDHU has investigated the potential for virus transmission on this flight and the risk is deemed to be low. Individuals on the flight should monitor for symptoms and should isolate and call the TBDHU if even one symptom develops at (807) 625-5900.

All residents should be aware that COVID-19 is still circulating at different levels around the province and in Canada.  The safest options are to stay in the area of your home community or to stay in the region.  Individuals who do travel outside of Northwestern Ontario should be extra vigilant in monitoring for symptoms when they return and should isolate and call TBDHU to arrange for testing if any symptoms develop.

Note that all people who have travelled outside of Canada are required to self-isolate for 14 days from their arrival in Canada.
