September 22, 2021 - The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has confirmed the presence of blue-green algae in a water sample collected at Trout Lake on August 31 2021. It is important to remember that water should be avoided whenever a blue-green algae bloom is present, and for about 2 weeks after it has dissipated.

September 13, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 5 (five) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 17.
