In addition, through data quality checks, 1 case reported previously by TBDHU was removed from the TBDHU case count. This will be reflected in the overall case count today.
July 9, 2021 - The Government of Ontario has announced that the province will be moving to Step Three of its Roadmap to Reopen starting at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021. This applies to the entire Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) catchment area.

July 5, 2021 - Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has confirmed the presence of blue-green algae in a water sample collected at Two Island Lake on June 29, 2021. The MECP has conducted toxin analysis on the water sample.

July 4, 2021 - Starting Monday July 5, 2021, walk-in appointment spots will be available at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) CLE clinic in Thunder Bay. Anyone 12 years of age and older will be eligible to receive a first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine without having a pre-booked appointment.
