June 21, 2021 - This past Saturday (June 19th), the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) was informed that the supply of Pfizer vaccine expected for the week of June 21st would be delayed by two to three days.

To accommodate this unexpected supply change and ensure all individuals currently booked for vaccine can get their vaccine, TBDHU is switching several clinics to Moderna vaccine.

The following clinics in Thunder Bay will be administering Moderna vaccine and not Pfizer as previously indicated:

June 21, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 2 (two) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 14.

June 20, 2021 - On Thursday June 17, 2021, the Province announced the accelerated rollout of second dose eligibility for COVID-19 vaccines.

As of the morning of Monday June 21, individuals who received their first dose of an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) on or before May 9th are eligible to book an appointment for a second dose.

June 19, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 1 (one) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 23.

June 18, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 0 (zero) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 29.

June 17, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 1 (one) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 31.

June 16, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 5 (five) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 35.

June 15, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 3 (three) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 33.

June 14, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 6 (six) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 33.

June 12, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 6 (six) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 39.
