February 13, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 32 (thirty-two) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 143.
February 12, 2021 - Today, the Government of Ontario placed the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) in the “Red - Control” zone of the provincial COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe and Open. Stringent public health measures will further help control the spread of COVID-19 in the TBDHU area. This move comes into effect on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at 12:01 a.m.
February 12, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 26 (twenty-six) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 121.
February 11, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and Lakehead Public Schools confirm that an outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared at McKellar Park Central Public School in Thunder Bay.

February 10, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is declaring an outbreak of COVID-19 among individuals who are experiencing homelessness and those who are precariously housed in the City of Thunder Bay.
Enhanced testing and surveillance done recently has shown a small but significant increase in cases of COVID-19 in this population. In addition, in the follow-up with individuals identified with COVID-19, public health has not always been able to establish a clear link with other cases suggesting that some spread of the virus has happened in this community.
February 10, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 13 (thirteen) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 93.
February 9, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and St. Joseph’s Care Group announce that the outbreak at Hogarth Riverview Manor (HRM), Birch/Spruce Grove Resident Home Area, in Thunder Bay is now over.
Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place at HRM to reduce likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility. Expanded precautions were implemented for the duration of the outbreak.
