January 6, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 6 (six) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 48.

January 6, 2020 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is advising the public of locations where they could have been exposed to COVID-19.

Individuals who were on the flights and seated in the rows noted below could have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.

January 5, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 9 (nine) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 60.

January 4, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 6 (six) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 63.

January 3, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 8 (eight) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 57.

January 2, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and Southbridge Care Homes announce that the outbreak at Southbridge Pinewood long-term care home in Thunder Bay is now over.

Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place at Southbridge Pinewood long-term care home to reduce likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility. Expanded precautions were implemented for the duration of the outbreak.

January 1, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and St. Joseph’s Care Group confirm that an outbreak has been declared at Hogarth Riverview Manor (HRM), Birch/Spruce Grove Resident Home Area, in Thunder Bay.
