COVID-19: Call Volume

Before proceeding, if you have any questions regarding COVID-19, first consult this self-assessment tool.

 

Please ensure you have read this message fully to clarify how to get the answer to your question as quickly as possible.

 

Our Current Priority is to hear from:

  • Healthcare providers who are seeking or reporting information
  • Health care workers that are symptomatic and have returned from outside Northwestern Ontario.
  • Residents who have recently travelled outside Northwestern Ontario AND are experiencing symptoms.

If you are experiencing symptoms and have travelled internationally, isolate yourself from others as quickly as possible. Immediately call a health care professional or Thunder Bay District Health Unit (807) 625-5900. 

Our ability to properly manage the COVID-19 situation in our community is dependant upon being able to speak with those residents described above. It is imperative that we manage our phone lines accordingly. As such, all other residents with questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 are asked to first read through our Coronavirus website: tbdhu.com/coronavirus and, if you do not find your answer, phone Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000.
