Small Changes Today, Healthier You Tomorrow!

Small Changes Today, Healthier You Tomorrow

Congrats to our photo contest winners – Diana, Susan, and Sarah!

It doesn't take much to live a little healthier. In February 2018 we challenged you to make small, achievable changes for better health! Participants took pictures of their small changes and submitted them for a chance to win a fitness tracker and other great prizes! Check out all the awesome entries in our Small Changes Challenge Facebook album.

A small change could be eating another serving of vegetables with dinner, taking a 10-minute walk each day, drinking water instead of pop, and more! Find something that you will be able to stick with and make a habit.

Start where you are.

Use what you have.

Do what you can.

You're worth it.

  • Keep it simple! Focus on changing one lifestyle habit at a time. As that becomes routine, build in another goal that helps you reach the overall lifestyle you are aiming for.
  • Stay positive! Believe in yourself that you can achieve your healthy lifestyle goals. If you have a setback, try not to be down on yourself. Just keep trying!
  • Make a plan. Think about the lifestyle you wish yourself in the future and what you can do today to help you get there. Write out a plan that breaks it all down into small realistic steps.
  • Get support. Share your healthy lifestyle goals with family members, friends or coworkers who can offer support and help you stick to your plan.
